Saw Sections

Saw sections are usually located just behind the chipping section. They can remove one or two side boards from each side of the cants as they pass through the module.

Cone Machinery, Inc. offers two main saw section models: fixed and shifting. Fixed models have stationary center saws and produce a 4" wide center cant plus two side boards on each side of the cant. Shifting models have saws that are able to move laterally; these machines can produce 4", 6", 8", 10", and 12" wide center cants, plus up to two 1-3/4 in. thick side boards on each side of the cant.

Heavy duty Frame (Cone Style), Cantilevered Arbor Assemblies (no door bearings), Integrated Pressroll Pivot and Drive Mount (entire assembly comes out the top by removing eight bolts), Heavy duty Driven Bedroll Assemblies with vernier adjustment, Saw Saver System comes pre-plumbed and pre-wired. Saw Guide System - Choose either Fixed (4" center cant) or Shifting (4", 6", or 8" center cant), both with up to two side boards. If you choose the Fixed model, it can easily be converted to Shift in the future.
