Management Team
David Cone President dcone@conemachinery.com	David started with the company in 1984. He began his career working in the shipping and receiving department. He later moved to inside sales specializing in parts and conversions. In 1987 he became inside sales manager and Vice President of the company. After the passing of his father Amanuel in 1990 he was promoted to President of the company.
Phil Clay Vice-President/Project Coordinator pclay@conemachinery.com	Phil is family, married to David's sister Pam. He has 25 years of experience in the saw mill industry. He was the mill manager at Balfour Lumber Company before starting with Cone Machinery in 1990. He is the vice president of the company.
Lavon Cone Manufacturing Manager lcone@conemachinery.com	Lavon is one of Amanuel's brothers. He has been in the lumber manufacturing business since 1969 (36 years). Before coming on board with Cone Machinery in 1985 he was with Balfour Lumber Company as a millwright, saw filer, sawyer, and division manager of manufacturing.
Pam Clay Office Manager pamclay@conemachinery.com	Pam is David's sister, and she manages the office. She worked for Thomas County Government in the accounting/data processing department before starting with Cone Machinery in 1988.
Design Engineering
Mike Greener Engineering Manager mgreener@conemachinery.com	Mike has been with Cone Machinery for 16 years. He provides many years of experience in sawmill machinery design and construction. He was formerly with Chip-n-Saw (7 years), Forest Industries Machinery (8 years), and USNR (2 years).
Craig Harrell Head Designer charrell@conemachinery.com	Craig has been with Cone Machinery since 1995 and is an expert in AutoCAD design work, with an extensive mechanical background.
Controls Department
We have a full controls department and panel shop for building and testing AC drives panels, PLC I/O Panels, and Operator consoles as well as custom cables such as servo and proportional valve cables.
Jack Donovan Chief Electrical Engineer and Controls Department jdonovan@conemachinery.com or jpd39@hotmail.com	Based in Thomasville Ga., Jack has thirty years experience in the electronic controls field, and has specialized in general sawmill machinery controls for the last fifteen years. In particular, Jack has become well known for his work with the Allen Bradley line of PLC processors. Jack also specializes in the following: AC variable speed drives, including Allen-Bradley, Toshiba, ABB and EMS. Hydraulic linear positioners, including Allen- Bradley's 1771QB, MTS and SAS. Man-Machine Interface programming and layout, including Allen-Bradley's Panelview, panelview Plus, RSView Works, and RSView ME Complete control system design, assembly, installation and start-up. PLC/Optimization integration and start-up. Jack is also the company pilot. This increases his ability to arrive at the work site in a timely fashion should problems arise. He is available on-line, via PC Anywhere, for more pressing PLC programming problems.
Purchasing / Materials Management
Jeff Hancock Purchasing Manager jhancock@conemachinery.com	Jeff has been with Cone for 8-1/2 years. He handles all purchasing for the company.
Sales Department
Steve Rogers Sales Engineer Eastern Sales srogers@conemachinery.com	Steve is based in Americus, GA and covers Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. His background is in manufacturing and design. He spent four years as a service representative for Cone Machinery before entering sales in 1989.
Rufus Landrum Sales Engineer Western Sales rlandrum@conemachinery.com	Rufus is based in Richton, MS and covers Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. He has an extensive background in saw mill operations, design and modifications. He spent many years as a product installation engineer for Hood Industries before entering sales with Cone Machinery in 2004.
Parts Department
Kenny Smith Parts Sales ksmith@conemachinery.com	Kenny is family, married to David's sister Kim. He has been with Cone Machinery since 1987. He handles all Inside Parts Sales and oversees the Shipping and Receiving Department.
Rob Anderson Parts Sales randerson@conemachinery.com	Rob has been with Cone Machinery since 1990. He handles Inside Parts Sales and assists with the Shipping and Receiving Department.
Service Department
The Cone Machinery Service Department is second to none in the Industry. If it's broken, bent, or out of line, these guys can fix it.
Malvin Monk Service Representative mmonk@conemachinery.com	Malvin has been with Cone Machinery for 10 years. He has many years experience with CNS machinery, as well as with the equipment manufactured by Cone Machinery. He covers all of the southeastern United States.
